Use FreeBSD for the BSD suff, and get a copy of UnixWare from SCO for $20.00 and learn the System V stuff. I would suggest Linux, but it's not BSD or it's not System V it's just Linux, but it is a very good OS for learning about Unix in general. If you are a student, you can call Sun and see if they will sell you a copy of Solaris at a reduced price.
