Gnucash depends on slib, which in turn builds with scheme48. slib
and scheme48 aren't getting along. From what I can get from the slib author,
the scheme48 version currently in the ports is broken.

I have been posting about this on the ports mailing list too, but no one is
doing anything about it. If I knew what I could do, I would gladly do it.

I also have a patch that I submitted to ports that would modify slib enough
to get it working with scheme, hence make gnucash work. That is how I am
currently using gnucash. You may want to locate that patch via the GNATS
engine.

Thanks,
Keith.
