Thanks, Bob, for the input.  My understanding of the Apache
proxy server is that the only protocol that it supports is
HTTP.  If that's the case, I need something a bit more robust
as what I'm trying to do is to connect my network to the Internet
via a "cable modem".  Am I missing someting?
