I think that was covered in my first paragraph... "Free adivice is generally worth what you pay for it. Many times advice you pay for is worth no more. And conditions change with markets and local laws. Your mileage may vary." The certifications in question were the MSCE, Oracle and A+ tests. Overall, whatever their real merits, the MSCE and Oracle certifications do help one get a job. And the A+ helps, but not as much.
