Hi

On a weird thought, I made my /etc/make.conf set DIRSTDIR to
/usr/ports/distfiles/${CATEGORIES} (not really, I had to tell it to use
only the first value)

Anyone think that it's a good idea? Would make it a lot easier to handle
/usr/ports/distfiles, which gets quite alarming on some boxen, and w.r.t.
ftp sites. Crossover might be painful, though.

In any case, just an idea.

Neil
