First, I'm running FreeBSD 4.5R. I've read in a couple of places something about security updates come from a different "source" in relation to cvsup. My cvsup is working fine right now for what I'm doing - I think. So my question is is this "reading" confusing me? Am I getting EVERYTHING for 4.5R e.g. bug updates, enhancements, and security updates ? I have a script the does my updates (and building and installing and portdb cleaning and all that) using "make update" in /usr/src. My cvs-supfile looks like this: #*default host=cvsup1.FreeBSD.org #*default host=cvsup3.FreeBSD.org *default host=cvsup5.FreeBSD.org #*default host=cvsup6.FreeBSD.org *default base=/usr *default prefix=/usr *default release=cvs *default tag=RELENG_4_5_0_RELEASE *default delete use-rel-suffix *default compress src-all ports-all tag=. doc-all tag=. -- ........................................................ ......... ..- -. .. -..- .-. ..- .-.. . ... ............ .-- .. -. -... .-.. --- .-- ... -.. .-. --- --- .-.. ...
