I don't know what you were told, but I presume you were asking about how to install FreeBSD. Here's what you do: go to http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/install.html. There it'll tell you what you have to do to install FreeBSD. It doesn't invlove downloading hundreds of files one by one. If you install via FTP, it involves downloading a single file; the rest of the downloading is automatic. > i would get you cd but it costs to much. $40 is too much for an entire operating system, with everything you need included?
