i had an earlier post about my boot sequence hanging when i put my orinoco card in.its a freebsd 4.4 box and the card uses a pci adapter.Didnt get any replies though. from the release notes i see they suggest using ISA interrupt routing for such hosts. "Some hosts may experience problems, such as hangs or panics, with PCI interrupt routing; they can frequently be made to work by forcing the older-style ISA interrupt routing. The following lines, placed in /boot/loader.conf, may fix the problem: hw.pcic.intr_path="1" hw.pcic.irq="0" " Does this mean i use ISA interrupt routing for my PCI adapter based PC Card?Or it means i should use ISA adapters and hence ISA interrupt routing? Hoping for some help to read the above lines.I am not a hardware guy at all. Vinod __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
