I see your point, with respect to updating the manual. The configuration of the worm driver is confusing when looking at what it says there. I don't have a worm drive, but could you tell me whether the following works for you? ... controller scbus0 device worm0 device sd0 ... I think this is the most generic way and this should be the way things work. I'll try and confirm this with the writer of the driver.
