I have a A7M266 motherboard that works fine. But I tried to use the xf86config command and it let me write the config file ok. But when I try to start the Xserver the machine panics in the same way. My NVidia GeForce 2 GTS and Xfree 4.0.3 and 4.1.0 have given me no problems whatsoever. Try using xf86config which worked for me. -- Jeroen Ruigrok van der Werven/Asmodai asmodai@[wxs.nl|freebsd.org|xmach.org] Documentation nutter/C-rated Coder, finger asmodai@ninth-circle.dnsalias.net http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/developers-handbook/ ...fools rush in where Daemons fear to tread.
