We have had good results with RELENG_6 from about Sept 2007. This is
with a T1 card

wcte11xp0: <Digium Wildcard TE110P T1/E1 Board> port 0x1100-0x11ff
mem 0x88850000-0x88850fff irq 22 at device 1.0 on pci4
WCT1xxP Attach for wcte11xp0: deviceID : 0xe159
wcte11xp0: [FAST]
FALC version: 00000005
TE110P: Setting up global serial parameters for T1 FALC V2.2
TE110P: Successfully initialized serial bus for card
Found a Wildcard: Digium Wildcard TE110P T1/E1
Registered tone zone 0 (United States / North America)
TE110P: Span configured for ESF/B8ZS

One bug we have run into is that if the echo canceler is too high,
and you call out and a modem answers at the other end of the line, it
will panic in the driver and crash the box.

eg
echocancel=256
echotraining=yes
