Subject:   Optimization of TCP/IP parameters for DSL

Anyone have any recommendations for optimizing TCP/IP on FreeBSD for a DSL
connection via a router?  I know that in Windows I had to increase the
window size to allow for long lag with distant sites, and some other stuff
that I don't recall.  I presume that the same changes would effect the same
improvement in FreeBSD, no?
