I haven't had that problem, but I have had a lot of odd location bar problems from the sluggishness of the UI (I have a dual P3/450). I'd recommend giving the Galeon port a try; it uses the Mozilla rendering engine, but is extremely responsive and has loads of useful features. You can tell the port to use your existing Mozilla installation with the WITH_FULL_MOZILLA option.
