I am able to use one of these in my laptop with no problems. (having removed pccard frpm pci-cardbus bridge supplied) However the one I have been trying to use in the PCI adapter has yet to work. I stated out with a 4.4 RC-2 machine which appeared to work but produced a watchdog timeout when I tried to use wi0. Now having upgraded to 4.5-stable I still see the watdog timout, but the system hangs when I try to utilise the sis0 interface. This is repeatable, ifconfig sis0 in sngle user mode returns the expected results and a prompt but at this point the system is 'hung' and unresponsive. This obviosly means the machine hangs before going multi user. Removing the IT/Zoom PCI cardbus bridge restores the machine to functionality. I think I have exhausted all possible combinination of the hw.pcic settings in loader.conf Does anybody have any suggestions how to proceed?
