hello,

i am running freeBSD4.2Stable, with a kernel based on GENERIC, but =
with options for SMP (dual p3-850), APIC_IO, and a few others specific =
to PostGreSQL... all is sweet! i try to add a 2nd NIC, and it looks =
like the machine recognizes them as the same NIC... the first NIC is =
linksys LNE100TX, and the 2nd is Kingston KNE111TX. i go to =
/stand/sysinstall, and into config, network, interfaces, and config dc0 =
for my WAN IP, then go to dc1, and set it for the LAN IP, bring both up, =
and even reboot. bottom line is that the last config i set, stays for =
both NICs. are the cards too similar? or am i missing something?

thanks!
shaun
