If I'm reading things right, XFree86 4.0 can handle multiple screens. This thinkpad is also capable of driving the screen and external monitor separately (W98 even has a utility for their relative postitions). I can order my 21" screen before the workstation, but will I be able to use it as a second head on this model? I'll probably have to manually edit the configuration, as xf86cfg brings down the system . . . hawk -- Prof. Richard E.
