Subject: natd.cf for masquerading?

Do I need to use natd.cf if I'm just trying to get some simple
ipmasquerading rules? And while I'm on this subject does FreeBSD use
IPCHAINS and IPTABLES because I can't find it anywhere on my FreeBSD 4.4
machine or in the FreeBSD Cookbook, or in the ports section. I'm asking
this because I'm coming from Linux.

Dave
