Sender: questions-owner@freebsd.org Precedence: bulk Ok, I've played with the boot code, but for some reason, I can't write it back to disk! I modified the signon banner so I'd know if I succeeded. Make'ing & installing the boot code produces sdboot and bootsd. Does wdboot, etc need to be ln'd or copied over? Also, there is a program named 'boot', how does this get updated? Just copy it from the biosboot src directory? If this is necessary, why doesn't the install target do this? Thanks, Joe
