I had assumed that he was indicating that he wanted the personal mail stored
on the same hard drive as the mailserver, and that he was _running_ the mail
client on the mailserver.  His mail really isn't clear about it.

It gets even more interesting when the people run fetchmail and pull mail via
pop3 from their ISP, reinject it into the local sendmail system, then store it
in mailboxes, then use IMAP locally followed by a mail client running on an
x-server running on the local system.
