Yea, I am reading the broadcast, lol, subnet then, I think that's what
I'm looking for, am I right?

Hi Dave,

Are you sure you're not reading the broadcast address instead? The mask
should be written in hex, so if your mask is 255.255.0.0 it'll look like
0xffff0000
