I'm running FreeBSD 4.4 Stable and for some reason I'm having a problem
installing some things from ports. Tried to install both gcc 2.95.3 and
3.0.2 but I keep getting the following:

cc: Internal compiler error: program cc1 got fatal signal 11
gmake[2]: *** [alias.o] Error 1
gmake[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/lang/gcc295/work/gcc-2.95.3/gcc'
gmake[1]: *** [bootstrap] Error 2
gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/lang/gcc295/work/gcc-2.95.3/gcc'
gmake: *** [bootstrap] Error 2
*** Error code 2

Stop in /usr/ports/lang/gcc295.
*** Error code 1

./genattrtab .././..//gcc-3.0.2/gcc/config/i386/i386.md > tmp-attrtab.c
Killed
gmake[2]: *** [s-attrtab] Error 137
gmake[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/lang/gcc30/work/build/gcc'
gmake[1]: *** [stage1_build] Error 2
gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/ports/lang/gcc30/work/build/gcc'
gmake: *** [bootstrap] Error 2
*** Error code 2

Stop in /usr/ports/lang/gcc30.
*** Error code 1

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Respectfully,

Mark Barthelemy
