You could burn the very small minimum cd, such as ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ISO-IMAGES-i386/7.0/7.0-RELEASE-i386-bootonly.iso and then do a net install afterwards as well. This is a very quick install, then you just pkg_add what you need, use sysinstall to add man pages and other pieces you want later. This has been my method for at least 5-6 years. Brian
