Um, at the risk of soliciting a [useless] political response (i.e. "It depends..."), what controller do you feel is best? Mylex or AMI? I'm probably looking at a minimum of 3 9GB cheetahs for a high-capacity web server. The whole point of soliciting input in this forum is to avoid buying the wrong product - I enjoy everybody's discussion on conceptual/performance issues, but it would be nice to get some specifics.
