I'm stumped. I just installed FreeBSD 4.4 on a Dell Optiplex machine. I know the NIC card is good in it, I just had Mandrake on it and before that Win2000 and had no network problem. I don't know FreeBSD well enough to troubleshoot the network connection. Can someone give me the steps needed to troubleshoot/fix my ethernet connection?
