I have a pentium pro 200 (two processors) with three scsi devices (excluding the controller) on disk 1 I have Windows 95, on disk 2 I have Windows NT 4.0 (my primary os) and a free partition of 2 gigs (which is where I want to install freeBSD) and a JAZZ drive. I also have a Mitsumi IDE CD-ROM drive. I am trying to install 2.1.7 (and soon 2.2). The two questions I have are 1) can I use the boot manager and keep my current configuration, even though BSD isn't on the first drive, and if so do I install in on drive 1 or drive 2? 2) When the install comes up should I tell BSD that I'm installing from a Mitsumi CD or from a DOS partition since it is an IDE cd-rom? TIA. John
