I wonder when we'll be seeing that in FreeBSDland? Even for Linux, its cutting edge. After running a Numeric Python application in Windows, I get the feeling that my Athlon DDR machine is not working up to its highest performance. Now with mp3 encoding with Gogo, using 3dNow extensions, that Athlon creams my laptop, encoding at 10 times its rate. But the laptop using Windows2000 and ddr mobo go neck and neck at big numer crunching apps written in Numpy. Rob.
