Hi Earlene,

If you have a fast Internet connection (DSL/Cable) you can create a boot =
floppy to start the installation and then download the rest of the files =
directly from the FreeBSD servers via FTP. Have a look at the link =
below:

It is from the FreeBSD handbook.  It would probably be a good idea for =
you to read though most of the manual to find out if FreeBSD is really =
what you are looking for.
