Some ports persistently fail to build. Upon closer inspection, after having done "pkgdb -F" a lot, I found that traditional installation worked flawlessly for a number of ports while portupgrade failed. Apparently portupgrade is failing to take into account the special Makefile flags of a subdirectory. Instead it just seems to go with eh main build settings which of course break. Here's the difference in the flags between a portupgrade run and the manual build: portupgrade: gmake[1]: Entering directory `/usr/ports/sysutils/apcupsd/work/apcupsd- 3.12.4/src/lib'
