Merging only applies to FreeBSD. FreeBSD obtained the MASK_NO_FANCY_MATH_387 fix from somewhere (it was lost in at least the FreeBSD version of egcs). I now think it was obtained without merging, by using the old gcc version of TARGET_DEFAULT.
