Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk List-ID: List-Archive: (Web Archive) List-Help: (List Instructions) List-Subscribe: List-Unsubscribe: X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I have a cheapo smartcard reader that I got from Amex, that appears to be made by a company called Gemplus. It's powered by the keyboard port and communicates via the serial port. It appears to be a model GCR415. Does smartcard reader/writer software exist for FreeBSD? I found a utility called fineid, but it seems to be focused on a particular type of smart chip. I've also found some other interesting things at a umich site, but they all seem to require a Todos smartcard reader.
