Keep in mind that /usr/obj is only used for building the FreeBSD system itself. Ports are built in the ports tree. Generally under /usr/ports///work You could use unionfs (see mount_unionfs(8)) to overlay a tmpfs over /usr/p= orts. I've used unionfs with nullfs to use a single ports tree in multiple jails, see: http://rsmith.home.xs4all.nl/freebsd/using-nullfs-and-unionfs-for-the-= ports-tree-in-a-jail.html Roland --=20 R.F.Smith http://rsmith.home.xs4all.nl/ [plain text _non-HTML_ PGP/GnuPG encrypted/signed email much appreciated] pgp: 5753 3324 1661 B0FE 8D93 FCED 40F6 D5DC A38A 33E0 (keyID: A38A33E0) --vGgW1X5XWziG23Ko Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQIcBAEBAgAGBQJUD1PFAAoJEED21dyjijPg3s8QAKyBcjmeS9/P+kzdiDXWoYFr r30T+2KuXmpCKXQuZSd1UNGIUMhMDDkV4nrb5fRVo6mDj79S5l6BpPA2vmCUdY6L jweB0pKnoTlmKiwJBvVyDUIDOIpMLWAYSI8qeNn+ov2M8cgZZfAN+W+4z/zdgPek XDoo6el82SkfYZq2w0fA/7WYZmzOdR7Tk9NUXc55N+7xd380Ch6zLPmcC1vQP5f6 ziBFelogWUwxix5BKaV959sXEEyICTWnNZyFl2RKydqIGWjltKriFazgCcn8QQ5y 2jUzbL1OaNE4tLVXE36/S7TDTa+DhzQiPF5a/klEFDjltn9vgGsCKWonPS23pNgw zcNwIke48GaRY6GNlRO5PiaEc7GwltaIlTQHWY+9iFTnN39ma60VZh3fNlCY1Oxs v5/6QT8k2Vy5/MljjTVJECustn6w9uaIx5Cdw0MpYq9V0Bjq1HxmarrEILQc1PEH 3/Inx3muvb554rp3JMZqw8tin3Kn+UoIzg8hYKnHg2RK18RPUVj66ceh8kjKbDn4 WBo7yrCuwoZuRHuclO10hCFuZjaSI2oXExoXmMoXK5AU3FJKlGNvbFM71zO8XqRT cqbLpGM+cFYUj+8epkpRCKCNFcbmlK4mhdVYwKOSp8Zv8+cSOZiyzGcBlgAMidli EIKqf1LUtvAEV/5Y8TNY =otA/ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --vGgW1X5XWziG23Ko--
