This is an OpenPGP/MIME signed message (RFC 2440 and 3156) --------------enig1DD3095C946567334FE588B4 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-15; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hello, I successfully used /boot/gptboot for booting my GPT based installation=20 on a BIOS standard PC. Now I'd like to make use of the great EFI system on my Intel Server=20 (amd64, not ia64!). How does the EFI system find/boot any loader? I created a "EFI System"=20 partition on my GPT disk. On the BIOS based machine I created a "freebsd-boot" partition instead=20 and installed gptboot. But how can I boot with EFI? Thanks, -Harry --------------enig1DD3095C946567334FE588B4 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.8 (FreeBSD) iEYEARECAAYFAkfxa/oACgkQLDqVQ9VXb8iPqgCeJjxZyNFUHdPNzHT6d3+83LYf c3gAoMdZJwWnQXtOyiiWn4h985lbV/XO =Z93R -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enig1DD3095C946567334FE588B4--
