I need to bind about 55 IPs to my network card (Intel EPro/100B). After a little spelunking, I was able to figure out what rc.conf wanted to create the aliases, and I bound my primary IP address and 10 aliases to the card. When I re-booted, I started getting the following errors: fxp0: Unsupported PHY type=7, addr=1 Once booted, I can FTP out, and I can ping my primary IP address and the 0th alias, but aliases 1-9 yield a "server is down" message. Using netstat, I was able to verify that all the aliases were, in fact, bound to the card. But they weren't responding. One other quirk with the whole setup is that two of the addresses are on a seperate class C network than the rest. I've got routed running with -s -m as parameters, have gateway_enabled set to "YES" in the rc.conf. The network chunk of rc.conf looks like this: network_interfaces="lo0 fxp0" ifconfig_lo0="inet 127.0.0.1" ifconfig_fxp0="inet 207.221.230.201" ifconfig_fxp0_alias0="inet 206.216.217.19" ifconfig_fxp0_alias1="inet 206.216.217.20" ifconfig_fxp0_alias2="inet 207.221.230.202" ifconfig_fxp0_alias3="inet 207.221.230.203" ... ifconfig_fxp0_alias9="inet 207.221.230.209" Machine specs: P6 200 64 meg RAM Don't remember the motherboard, but Award BIOS PCI Intel EPro/100B adapter Adaptec 2940U SCSI adapter Seagate ST15150 4gig HD Plextor 6Plex SCSI CD-ROM Floppy drive, 1 Parallel port, 1 serial port for mouse Vanilla VGA card Any pointers or ideas?
