While testing our applications for next year I ran into what appears to be
a problem with the date command.  On FreeBSD 2.2.7 I tried to set the date
to Jan 3, 2000 and could not do so throught the normal command.  I then
tried using the -f format and had problems also when trying to set the
complete date in one step.  When I broke it down and set first year, then
mon, then day etc it worked.
