I'm using an md(4)-backed /tmp fine at the moment with last night's CURRENT. I _did_ have hassles with Monday's CURRENT when my box locked solid doing this: # kldload md # mdconfig -a -t swap -s 128M md0 # mdconfig -d -u 0 # kldunload md # kldload md [...] /boot/kernel/kernel: WARNING: Driver mistake: repeat make_dev("mdctl") But I doubt that this is what you're seeing, and it may well have been fixed since Monday.
