Whoops, yes of course you're quite right. I do have a symlink
/dev/mouse -> /dev/sysmouse, and hence the confusion.

I do this since my mouse really IS a mousesystems compatible
mouse, so I can modify it to use the serial port directly if -
for whatever reason - I'm not using moused. It has been ages
since I last did that though. :-)
