VGA == Rage Mobility M3 AGP 2x

using driver "ati"

VGA recognized like Rage Mobility M3 LF AGP

>Description:

when I try to startx like a "normal" user, the machine, an IBM ThinkPad a22m, frozze the machine totally.
Like user "root", only happened sometimes.
I change the /etc/fbtab and descomment the line about "console". One time, like normal user, I obtained good results (can startx), but another times doesn't.
