Well, I can answer this for FreeBSD, as this is FreeBSD support, not BSDi
support.

Your best bet would be to install samba on the FreeBSD machine and use
Windows Networking on the Windows boxes to print to it.  The lpr mechanism
is not well developed on Windows platforms.

FreeBSD will in 2.2; I'm not sure about 2.1.6.
