I've been mucking about with a trying to get a printer rolling for a bit
now. I've read everything relating to it in
"The Complete FreeBSD 3rd edition" and can't get it to work. I keep
getting the following messages

#] lptest > /dev/lpt0
bash: /dev/lpt0: Device busy
#]

Why would it tell me the device is busy? The status file for lpd gives
this message

#] lptest 20 5 | lpr
#] cat status
waiting for lp to become ready (offline?)
#]

Any ideas ?

Keith
