--part1_84.19a16d04.289bc58b_boundary Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit I need it stated explicitly that the install creates a slice for FreeBSD and does not attempt to write over my present OS and data and apps. I'm sitting here with my image disks but I don't dare run them because I don't know what will happen to my sytem. I don't dare guess. Your handbook states that the install does everything, but it doesn't say what that everything is. Your everything and mine may not be the same. You need to more explicitly state what the install does. Do I need to run a disk partitioning program first? That's my confusion. --part1_84.19a16d04.289bc58b_boundary Content-Type: text/html; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit <HTML><FONT FACE=arial, helvetica><FONT SIZE=2>I need it stated explicitly that the install creates a slice for FreeBSD and <BR>does not attempt to write over my present OS and data and apps.
