Hello,

I am going to purchase a PC portable. One of the models I am
considering carries a Neomagic 256AV chip. I know that it is
supported by XFree86 now, but I would like to hear from people
using it: quality, speed (at 16bpp and 24bpp), etc.

BTW, other interesting portable model uses the ATI Rage Mobility-P
chip. I read the docs and the FAQ for XFree86 3.3.5, and there isn't
any reference to that chipset (the ATI Rage LT Pro _is_ now supported
by XF86 3.3.5, however). Does anybody know whether the ATI Rage Mobility
is supported by XFree86, or it isn't?

TIA,

-- JMA
