The one that ships with 4.3-RELEASE ? I'll look at the # now .. no wonder it looked like garbage even under NT. Is there a list of supported cards under XF86/Alpha? I have an old Diamond Stealth 64 with 4MB of ram that I might be able to stick in there .. S3 Vision968 Chipset If I remember correctly. on a side note. Go duke .. Im a huge fan of the basketball team. anyway I hope to get this resolved before I leave today if not tommorow Thanks for your help. It came with an enormous Intergraph video "card" -- It was actually 2 32-bit PCI cards bolted together and had 2 monitor ports & a S-video port, slots for RAM, etc. It had a VGA CL-GD5440, and lord knows what else. According to the label, its a PBXGI-AA/AB/AC which is either a PowerStorm 4D40, 50, or 60.. Does this sound like what you have? Anyway, at the time, XFree86 didn't know what to do with that card. I just threw it in a drawer and bought an unbranded $30 permedia-2 based card from my local office supply store. This (permedia-2) card was supported by XFree86 & has been working well ever since. I have no idea if XFree86 supports it yet.
