While on the subject of Clang, is this compiler only for C, C++ and Objective-C?

What about Ada and Fortran?  Does one need GCC for that?  Dragonlace for Ada?

I believe some of the ports require GCC.  Many of these ports are developed primarily for Linux and subsequently ported to FreeBSD ports and NetBSD-based pkgsrc.
