I have an Asus M2400E notebook with a SIS650/961 integrated chipset, and installed FreeBSD 4.8 without any trouble at all. I have included the dmesg after first boot below. The only thing that do not work is the power management support, but this is hardly surprising since the bios has support for APCI while the 4.8-kernel only supports APM. Regards, Erik Norgaard. dmesg after first boot follows: Copyright (c) 1992-2003 The FreeBSD Project.
