File systems aren't devices or device drivers. ffs.7 was originally in section 4, but was moved to a less wrong place. msdosfs.5 belongs with ffs.7. Section 5 has the following other misplaced things related to file systems: devfs.5, fdescfs.5: like msdosfs.5 (?) fs.5: actually does document a file format, namely the superblock format for 10-year old versions of ffs. This belongs in an Attic. The non-rotted version is in ffs/fs.h. procfs.5: this is almost correctly placed, since it describes the format of procfs's dirctory tree and the format of some of procfs's irregular regular files.
