That's the classic problem with VNC - most o/s's implement cursor acceleration, while VNC only reports absolute cursor position, and the ps2 mouse only reports relative cursor position :( The advantage of the usb tablet is that it reports absolute position, so the VNC and rendered cursor are identical. Agitate on FreeBSD support for that :) later, Peter.
