Subject: IPv6 & Bridging don't work together

I have a filtering bridge that I am also trying to use as a 6to4 router.
Alas,
IPv6 does not appear to work correctly with the bridge.

If I configure the interface on one side of the bridge, it is not
ping6able by
hosts on the other side. If I configure both sides with separate
prefixes, then
both of the prefixes show up on all of the hosts.

I don't really care if I can bridge IPv6 or not, truth be told. With
IPv6 the
vast number of subnets makes it unnecessary to bridge. But I need to be
able to
either keep the two interfaces totally separate despite the bridging of
other
protocols (specifically IPv4) or I need bridging to work correctly.
Either way.
