*grumble* /usr/X11R6/include/bonobo was symlinked to
/usr/X11R6/include/gnome-1.0/bonobo ... got rid of that and suddenly the
compile took off...

This is twice now I've been burned by stale symlinks on this
gnome2-beta5 quest... is there some way to avoid this happening to other
people, or did I just run into problems because I did something in the
wrong order or missed a step?  Are there any other similar directories
that should have been removed?
