Micropolis has been > out of business for longer than that. The vendor is around, however Micropolis is not. Micropolis fell on hard times and was bought out by a company that did not share their commitment to quality. They sent from being the gold standard of hard drives to being the standard in door stops in short order. A pity... Many people are selling leftover Micropolis drives, but without Micropolis to back up the drives, it's not a very good choice. My comment about Micropolis above was because I saw that CorpSys does sell some Micropolis drives, and I suggest that if you buy a raid, it be without Micropolis drives.
