Hi,

I have just bought an HP Scanject5p, which is really cheap and fast.

It more or less works with the "hpscan" program that I found in the
port collection, but there are probably some incompatibilities, maybe
due to some commands which are not supported by the scanner.

In any case, i am not completely satisfied with the GUI so am trying
to write a different GUI based on tk/tcl -- it also serves me as an
exercise.

Is there anyone who has some code to talk to the HP ScanJet5p (or some
other HP scanner) to use as a reference ?

	Thanks
	Luigi
